Notice Regarding the Introduction of an Accommodation Tax in Okinawa Prefecture and Ishigaki City (Effective February 1, 2027)

Starting with stays on Monday, February 1, 2027, an accommodation tax will be introduced in Okinawa Prefecture and Ishigaki City.
Accordingly, we will be charging a separate lodging tax as described below, and we kindly ask for your understanding.

Tax Rate: 2% of the accommodation fee* per person per night (excluding tax) 〈Maximum tax amount: 2,000 yen〉　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 *The accommodation fee refers to the room-only rate per person per night (excluding meals and consumption tax) plus the applicable service charge.

Even for reservations made through a travel agency, payment is generally due on-site; however, payment methods may vary depending on the terms of the travel agency’s contract.
